Mary Leppert, age 87, of Morristown, died Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus, Fridley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Waterville on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Andrew Stueve will officiate. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Waterville.
Visitation will be held at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, October 27, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mary, the daughter of Royden and Florence (Elgas) Jaehrling, was born February 27, 1936, in Waterloo, Iowa. On October 8, 1955, she was united in marriage to George W. Leppert in Waterloo. She enjoyed needle point, watching game shows, listening to the family’s band and dancing and being a grandma.
Survivors include her husband, George; children, Ken Leppert of Morristown, Michele Ulen of Owatonna, Daniel (and Wanda) Leppert of Faribault, Dennis (and Kate) Leppert of Owatonna, Diane (and Ron) Wegner of Faribault, Debra Leppert-Sammon of Faribault, Keith Leppert of Buffalo, WY, Bruce (and Laurie) Leppert of Waseca, Laura (and Steve) Ell of Morristown and Shari (and Andy) LeMieux of Morristown; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two siblings, Michele Jaehrling of Cedar Rapids, IA and John Jaehrling of Tigard, OR; other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Carol “Carrie” Leppert; one granddaughter Jessica Lynn Leppert; three siblings, Walter and Paul Jaehrling and Lanore Lamprecht.
