Eugenia B. Jones, 97, formerly of Montgomery, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Commons on Marice in Eagan.
A private mass will be held on Tuesday, June 9, with Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
“Gene” was born on March 31, 1923, in Pulaski, Wisconsin to Peter and Catherine (Nowak) Czarapata. She graduated from Pulaski High School. After graduation she worked as a secretary at the high school.
Robert M. Foley Sr., 86, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Shakopee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. with KC Rosary to conclude the visitation at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery and continue Tuesday, June 9 from 10 to 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating.

Neil R. Bohnsack, age 73, of New Prague, died suddenly on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Neil was born on March 16, 1947 in New Prague to Reuben W. and Selma R. (Jahn) Bohnsack. He graduated from New Prague High School and Dunwoody Vo-Tech Institute in electrical science. He served four years in the US Air Force as an electrician and was stationed in Panama during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Susan J.
Gladys E. Dols, 88, of Montgomery, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague. Private family services will be held.
Gladys was born on September 10, 1931, in Montgomery to Frank and Rose (Fierst) Taraba. She was a 1949 graduate of Montgomery High School and also from teaching school in Le Center in 1950.
Gladys taught eight years in Rice and Le Sueur County rural schools, first and second grade in Prior Lake, M.L.P. School, Paraprofessional for 17 years, and New Prague Elementary as a Reading Teacher.

Shawn was a lover of animals, especially cats. He was a musician. Singing and playing guitar were a great joy, as well as piano and Euphonium.
Frank Huber, 86, of Montgomery, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, peacefully at the Northfield Hospital from a complication of pneumonia. Services and interment will be at a later date.
Frank was born in Waconia on March 6, 1934, to Oliver and Louise (Soller) Huber. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1952, went to St. John’s University and then to Dunwoody to take up TV and Electronics.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Nickolay at St. Wenceslaus Church in New Prague on April 26, 1960, and passed away just short of their 60th anniversary.

William “Bill” Schultz, age 89, of Montgomery (formerly of Belle Plaine, Aitkin, and Eagan) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 5, 2020.
Bill was born April 17, 1930, in Milwaukee, WI to Edward and Edna Schultz. After High School he proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Bill married Marlene Wiesner on December 4, 1954.
Harriet Ann Novotny, 84 of Webster, MN passed away on Sunday April 5, 2020 at her home in Webster.
Harriet was born on November 30, 1935, and grew up on the family farm in Montgomery. The daughter of George and Anna (Pavek) Choudek, she graduated from Montgomery High School in 1953 and went to work at Munsingwear.
Harriet met Raymond Novotny, and they married on June 26, 1956. They started a family and rented a house in Webster for two years before purchasing their current home where she lived for 62 years.
Patrick John Holtz, age 67 of Fort Atkinson, WI, passed away March 30, 2020 at Woodland Hill Memory Care in Hudson, WI. Pat was born August 22, 1952 in New Prague, MN, to parents John and Genevieve (Petricka) Holtz. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1970 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Pat was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1978. He was united in marriage to Kay Liebhard on May 6, 1972 in Le Center, MN. The couple was blessed with three children and made their home in Fort Atkinson, WI.
Barbara Ellen Miller, age 81 of rural Belle Plaine died peacefully at home on March 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving, devoted husband Val and family after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born September 20, 1938 to Lester and Helen (Dryer) Scholl in Salem, South Dakota and grew up near St. Peter, MN. She married the love her life, Val Miller on September 20, 1953 and for 66 wonderful years they were an inseparable team. It was rare to see one without the other.
Frank Bily, 82, of Montgomery, died on Friday, March 20, 2020, at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center in New Prague.

Frank was born on July 11, 1937, in Kilkenny to Frank Joseph and Margaret Louise (Staddler) Bily, Sr. Frank was united in marriage to Fern Bjork on October 5, 1958 in Lansing, MN. He was a farmer who also worked at Hruby Implement, auto dealerships, Winco, and as a maintenance foreman at United Steel.
Freda Joyce Wacker, age 78, of New Prague, died on Monday, February 24, 2020 Mayo Systems in Rochester.
Private family services will be held in West Virginia at a later date.
Freda was born on June 7, 1941 in Hollygrove, West Virginia to Frank and Viola (Hill) Swartz. Freda was united in marriage to Ronald Wacker January 11, 1964.
Freda enjoyed gardening, flowers, babysitting, cooking/ baking, traveling, and dog sitting.
Alvin Tuma, 89, of Montgomery, died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato.

Russell Clarence Harkins, 70, of Le Center, died on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5 at the Le Center Funeral Home from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center with Fr. Tim Sandquist, officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
