Amy Joann Domonoske, age 52 of Waterville died on Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Larry G. Ahlman, age 77, of Morristown, died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester peacefully surrounded by his family.
Larry, the son of Betty and Martin J (Cap) Ahlman was born on December 25, 1943, in Morristown. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1961 and served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Intrepid before returning home and marrying Irma Schmidtke on July 22, 1966.

Jean Kae Wetzel, age 62 of Waterville, died at Traditions of Waterville on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

David E. "Pappy" Arnold, age 71 of Waterville died on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
Born on July 8, 1950 in Owatonna, Minnesota, he was the son of Robert and Marie (Noske) Arnold. David lived on a farm near Medford with his family and graduated from Medford High School in 1969. On September 7, 1973 he married the love of his life, Barbara Rae Wester in Westbook, MN. Together they lived in Owatonna and Washington, Iowa before recently moving to Waterville. David worked for the Wenger Corp. and Schwan’s Ice Cream for most of his life.

Steven James Meyer, age 63 of Waterville, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Phyllis Mae Grubish, age 79 of Waterville, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Water’s Edge Assisted Living in Mankato.

Edward Henry Schmidtke, age 69, of Morristown died on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at his home after a short battle with lung cancer.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, North Morristown on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Juan Palm, officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown at a later date.
Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 1 to 4 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Sunday.

Daniel H. Stangler, age 61 of Elysian, passed away in Rochester surrounded by his family on Monday, July 12, 2021.
Daniel was born in Mankato on December 30, 1959 to Ione (Dehn) Eustice and Charles Stangler. Dan graduated from Waterville HS in 1978. He then worked at Morton Buildings and was a Union Laborer until he retired. On May 11, 1991 he was united in marriage to LoryAnn M. Wolff.

John David Sandquist, age 78 of Elysian, MN and Mesa, AZ, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Rochester following a brief illness.
Born in Ames, IA on April 11, 1943, John was the son of David and Lorraine (Hutton) Sandquist of Cambridge, IA. After attending school at Iowa Wesleyan College, John began employment for Farmland Industries (later Agriliance). He continued his career in that company until his retirement in 2003. John took pride in his work and received recognition for his sales in fertilizer and chemicals and in his management with people.

Celebration of Life for Linda Brink (Ward) (July 27, 1949 – February 11, 2021)
Linda was born July 27, 1949 to Lyman and Ruth (Bawden) Ward in Faribault, and grew up in Waterville. Linda married Richard Brink on July 23, 1976 and moved to Silver Bay in 1980. They then resided in Waterville for several years, returning to Silver Bay in 2009.

A life well-lived deserves to be celebrated and that’s exactly what will be going on.

The event will be held on Friday, July 9 at The Village in Waterville from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. to share memories and photos, swap stories, and celebrate all the things that made them so special.

Gertrude Margaret Mary (Furr) Grubish, age 85 of Waterville, was born to Charles Everett Furr and Loretta Marie Carrigan at St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato, MN on Easter Sunday, April 12, 1936, into a large family. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Waseca, MN. Married Mahlon Charles Grubish on November 26, 1955 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. They were married for (66) years. They farmed south of Waterville on the Grubish Family farm and raised 3 children, Rose Marie (Thiedich), James Charles, and Catherine Ann (Wilson).

Lois O. Meschke, age 90, of Rapidan, died on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Northfield Retirement Community.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. The service will be livestreamed on Lois’ obituary page at www.mankatomortuary.com

Rocky Stangler, 67, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery from 4:30 to 7 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Tom Niehaus officiating and visitation one hour prior.

Carl A. Villwock, age 75 of Kilkenny, died on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at home.
Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waterville on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend David C. Mumme officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.
Visitation will be at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday, May 16th from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Monday.
