Her love was steady, her compassion sincere, and her actions, always thoughtful and selfless, spoke far louder than words ever could.
Eunice Mae Ott, age 97, of Lakeville, MN, passed away on January 29, 2026. Born and raised on a farm in Cherry Grove Township, Eunice carried her rural roots, faith, and love of service throughout her life.
David "Dave" H. Dezelske Sr., age 84, passed away at home on January 25, 2026, at 84 years old. Dave loved the Lord with all his heart and passionately walked out the Great Commission as commanded by his Savior Jesus Christ in Matthew 28. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Randall “Randy” Lee Ellman, aged 64, of Charles City, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his home.
Born on April 11, 1961, in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Randy was the son of Vincent and Delores (Johnson) Ellman. Randy enjoyed many activities, including spending time with his loved ones, camping, fishing, gambling and eating ice cream with dots every evening.
Judith "Judy" Ann Parry, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on January 19, 2026. Born on August 11, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to John and Dorothy Bork, Judy grew up with a generous heart and a steadfast faith that shaped every season of her life.
On January 20, 1962, she married the love of her life, Don. Together they raised three children, first in New Prague, Minnesota, later making homes in Plymouth and Apple Valley. Wherever Judy lived, she created a warm, welcoming place where friends and family knew they belonged.

Bob Allen passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 89. Bob was a devoted spouse to Dorothy, and father to Tom, Jennifer and Joan.
Bob taught at Montgomery-Lonsdale High School for 28 years.

Georgine "Jean" Rose Bradshaw, age 93, a resident of Praha Village in New Prague, formerly of Le Center, passed away on January 7, 2026, at Episcopal Church Home in St. Paul assisted by Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
Jean was born on February 12, 1932, in Erin Township, Rice County, Minnesota, to John and Emma (Trnka) Sticha. She grew up in New Prague and graduated from New Prague High School with the Class of 1950. After high school, Jean moved to Minneapolis where she worked in various retail stores.

Jeraline "Jeri" Pulkrabek, age 93, of New Prague, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026.
Born to Guy and Bessie Chumley on January 10, 1933, in Arp, Texas, Jeri was known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering devotion to family. After completing her education in Terre Haute, Indiana, she proudly served in the Army, where she met her husband Ralph at Camp McCoy in Sparta, WI. The couple married in January 1952 and soon made New Prague, MN, their beloved home, where they raised their nine children.
Kay Barriball Keohen, age 89, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Mala Strana Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Kay was born on April 3, 1936, in St. Anne, Illinois, to Orland and Vada (Coon) Beaupre. She fell in love with the first love of her life, Richard (Dick) Barriball and got married on May 10, 1956. They were blessed with four children, Scott, Craig, Pam and Faith.
Joseph Theodore Peerboom, age 97, of Le Sueur, MN, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, Papa, and friend whose quiet strength and kind spirit will be deeply missed.
Bruce Johnson passed away at the age of 68 on December 31, 2025. He was born on April 27, 1957. He was born to Eldon and Edna Johnson. He married Joan Ginter on June 2, 1984. They had one daughter Elizabeth in 1989. He graduated from Minnehaha Academy.
His grandkids were his pride and joy. He enjoyed watching TV and playing games on his tablet. He was on dialysis and had many other health issues for a long time before his passing.
Esther Grace Kabes, age 99, of New Prague, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Mala Strana Health and Rehabilitation Center, just two weeks shy of her 100th birthday.
Virginia A. “Ginny” Mahowald, 98, of New Prague, died peacefully on December 31, 2025, at Praha Village. Ginny was born on June 8, 1927, in New Prague, Minnesota, to George and Rose (Holec) Layne. She attended St. Wenceslaus Grade School, New Prague High School, and the College of St. Catherine, graduating with a degree in nutrition and dietetics. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota and later married her childhood sweetheart, Allen Mahowald. Together they made their home in New Prague, spending summers at Cedar Lake.
