New postal vehicles have more capacity for cargo

The United States Postal Service is in the middle of extensive modernization efforts nationwide which includes upgrading its aging delivery fleet of more than 230,000 vehicles — one of the world’s largest.
Montgomery’s Post Office received their two new vehicles earlier this month, replacing  two 1989 Grumman Long-Life Vehicles (LLV). The old vehicles will eventually be transported away to be used for parts for other Grumman vehicles that still remain in service.
