A daughter, Madeleine Finch Eldred-Colman, was born to Matthew John Eldred and Jaime Lynne Colman of Washington, DC, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. Madeleine weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 21-1/2 inches long. Madeleine is welcomed home by her sister, Evelyn Wren, age 2.

Madeleine, like her sister, will use the hyphenated last name Eldred-Colman.

Grandparents are Craig and Diane Eldred of Saint Bonifacius, MN and James and Cynthia Colman of Lake Winola, PA.
