Gordon Schwartz, age 93 died on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Our Circle of Friends in Faribault.
Robert “Bob” R. Quast, age 70, of Minneapolis and formerly of rural Morristown died on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Private services will be held for the family with Pastoral Minister Bernadette Tatge officiating. Interment with military rites will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
A memorial visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, December 6, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Harold L. Bloomer, age 93, of Morristown, died on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at District One Hospital, Faribault.
Funeral services will be held at Peace United Methodist Church, Morristown on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10 a.m with the Reverend Eldon Eklund, officiating. Interment and military rites by American Legion, Post 149 will be at Riverside Cemetery, Morristown.
Visitation will be at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, November 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Charles E. “Chuck” Kajer, age 60, of New Prague, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital New Prague. Chuck was born on October 16, 1959 in St. Paul and was lovingly welcomed by his parents Ronald G. and Helen D. (Kes) Kajer. He attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, graduated from New Prague High School, attained his B.A. from St. John’s University, and an associate degree from Winona State College. He married the love of his life, Jennifer “Jenny” A. Settergren on June 16, 1984 at St.

Phil passed away peacefully on October 14, 2019 at home with his daughter and wife on either side holding him. He fought a courageous 3-year battle with lung cancer. He was born on November 28, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN. He was the son of Robert and Marjorie Spurgin growing up in Bloomington, MN. He is survived by his loving wife Lynette, daughter Catherine (fiancé Adam) Spurgin, step sons Branden (Emily) Luther, Brent (Katie) Luther, and Brandt (girlfriend Jess) Luther and 2 grandchildren, Zaiden and Aylin Luther.
Fred “Fritz” M. Bosacker, 87, of Owatonna, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna.
Gereldene (“Geri”) Phyllis Bakken was the third of six children born to Erick and Grace Schultz on Nov. 3, 1924 in Willow City, ND. In 1941 at the age of 17 she went to Washington DC, where she worked as a secretary in the Pentagon building. She attended Minot State Teacher’s College and taught school for a few years after returning to North Dakota. Geri married Robert Bakken in 1951 and they had four children together. Geri had a passion for reading, was an accomplished pianist, and loved playing bridge.

Vicki Jo Gross, age 75 of Elysian, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter after a short battle with lung cancer.
Lucille “Lu” Agnes Thomas, age 81, died at Traditions of Waterville on Monday, October 21, 2019.
Harold Pemble passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at age 80. He was born July 1, 1939 to Harry and Catherine Pemble. Harold married the love of his life, Virginia Petersen, on October 20, 1962. He proudly served in the United States Army.
