John (Jake) “Pops” Keohen, age 83, of Montgomery, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather left this earth to join his heavenly Father on February 8th, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kay; his sons, John “Jake”, Pete, Matt, Tim’s widow, Diana; stepchildren, Scott (Diane), Craig (Carolyn), Pam (Larry), Faith (Randy) and sister, Kathryn (Tatty); 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Jerry; sisters, Mary Hennes and Patricia Rynda; brother, Jerry and son, Tim “Wally”.

Ethan Shane Delaske passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his home in Janesville with his parents and sister by his side at the age of 5 years old.

Lorraine Louise Lyons, age 80, of Waterville died on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Whispering Creek in Janesville.
Born on November 4, 1941, in Waseca to Herman and Esther (Gehrke) Berndt. She attended Waterville High School, graduating with the class of 1960. On November 24, 1962, Lorraine was united in marriage to John Lyons at St. Peter “Bell” Lutheran Church in Elysian and together they made their home in Waterville while raising their two children. Lorraine and John shared 32 years of marriage before John passed away on January 2, 1995.

Pearl E. Smith, age 93 of Burnsville (formerly of Waterville, MN) entered her heavenly home on January 23, 2022. Pearl was born and raised on a farm in Merrill Township in northwestern Iowa. She was the 7th out of 7 children born to Walter and Anna Zimmerman. Pearl attended a one room country school through 8th grade and then graduated from LeMars High School. She attended Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis, MN when Billy Graham was president of the school.

Dennis "Hank" Roemhildt, 87, of Owatonna, died Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Owatonna Hospital.
He was born May 16, 1934 in Le Center, Minnesota, the son of Theodore and Clara (Conrath) Roemhildt.  He grew up in the Elysian area and was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church (The Bell Church).  He attended country school through the eighth grade. 
On August 12, 1955, he married Violet Bremer.  The couple lived in St. Peter and Waseca before moving to Owatonna where they have resided for the past 61 years. 

Donald Randall Carnahan, age 74, of Elysian, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at his home.
Memorial visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato.

Gerald “Jerry” Arthur Gehrke, 75. Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Gerald “Jerry” Arthur Gehrke, passed away at his home in North Mankato Tuesday morning (December 21, 2021).

Janet Rae Quiram, age 88, of Waterville, died on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Traditions of Waterville.

Barbara "Bobbie" Frances O'Brien, age 71, of Crystal, died on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

William C. Williams, 91, Buck Lake, MN, formerly longtime resident of Elysian, MN died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home on Buck Lake.  He was born November 4, 1930 to William Walter and Hannah (Clark) Williams in Elysian, MN.  William grew up in Elysian, MN where he farmed his entire career.  He later moved to Buck Lake and had resided there for the past 28 years.  William was a wonderful singer, and played the saxophone in his youth.  He loved music, woodworking, and hunting and fishing in his younger days. 

Mayonne Francis Ackman, 84 passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Sandford Hospice House in Fargo, North Dakota.
Mayonne was born on October 31, 1937 to Joe & Edna Slechta. She was one out of four children and grew up in Waterville, MN. After graduating high school in 1956 she went to the Technical College in Faribault, MN for two years and then pursued her bachelor’s degree in Vocational Education. On October 18, 1969 she married the love of her life, Tom Ackman.

Bernadine Ardell Struck, 72, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 30, 2021. The family is inviting friends to pay their respects on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Frieden's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lanesburg. Interment will be held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

Marlow Louis Roessler, age 84 of Elysian, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester on Thursday, December 2, 2021, as a result of injuries he sustained in a fall on Wednesday.
 

Delbert Francis Voegele, age 75 of Morristown died on December 1, 2021, at Mayo Health System, Rochester.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault with military rites provided by American Legion, Post 149, Morristown.
Visitation will be at church from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday.
