Roger H. Becker, age 80 of Waterville died on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Methodist Campus in Rochester.

Edith Carol (Seha) Njus died on the morning of December 7, 2023, in Marietta, Georgia. She was born to Clarence and Elizabeth Seha on May 12, 1939. She grew up on the farm outside of Elysian and graduated from the Waterville High School class of 1957. Edith and Richard (Dick) Wetzel married in 1957 and together they raised two children, Ed and Sarah. They later divorced. Edith lived with rheumatoid arthritis since she was a young woman.

Terry Vincent Miller, age 81 of Waterville, died on the morning of Saturday, December 2, 2023, at The Emeralds of Faribault.

Peggy S. Snustad, age 53 of Plymouth, MN, passed away peacefully on November 27, surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 8, from 4-7 p.m. at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 Wayzata Blvd E., Wayzata. The funeral service is Saturday, December 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Phillip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 CR 6, Plymouth.

Leona J. Quast, age 86, of Waseca, formerly of Waterville, died on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waseca. 
Leona was born on February 11, 1937, in Vivian Township, Waseca County, to Louis and Anna (Fogal) Groskreutz. She attended rural country school in Waseca County. On October 17, 1964, Leona was united in marriage to Keith Quast in Mapleton, Minnesota. Together they made their home on the Quast Family Farm in rural Waterville. Leona and Keith shared 45 years of marriage before Keith passed away in 2009. 

Tara Ann Schwartz, age 44, of Montgomery, died Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Mayo Health Systems, Mankato. 
Born on January 24, 1979, in Faribault, a daughter of Steve and Vicky Schwartz. She graduated from Faribault Senior High School, Class of 1997. Tara had sold insurance and worked as a nurse’s aide throughout her life. She was a member of New Day Church in Montgomery.
She is survived by her mother, Vicky Schwartz of Faribault; father, Steve Schwartz of Las Vegas; sons, Brennan and Avery Hunter both of Waterville.

LaVerne S. Edelman, age 80, of Faribault, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Faribault Senior Living.
Memorial services will be held at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Welch.
A memorial visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m. and for one half hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Dorothy Roma Prahl, age 90, of Faribault, died during the early morning of Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Mill City Senior Living in Faribault.

Donna M. Pittman, age 92 of Waterville, passed away on the afternoon of Friday, October 20, 2023, at Traditions of Montgomery.

Mary Leppert, age 87, of Morristown, died Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus, Fridley.  
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Waterville on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.  The Reverend Andrew Stueve will officiate.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Waterville.  
Visitation will be held at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, October 27,  from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the church. 

Rita M. (Sevcik) Jasan, age 91, of Lonsdale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis after a heart attack the previous Saturday. Rita was able to spend her last days visiting with all of her children and grandchildren. Her family and special friend Brenda took shifts sitting with her so she was never alone. When asked if she was ready to go to Heaven, she nodded and smiled.

Aurora Blank, age 89, of Wells, Minnesota, passed away on September 13, 2023. She was born on October 8, 1933, in San Antonio, Texas, to her late parents, Fransisco & Simona Echevarria. She later married Clifford Blank on Aug. 15, 1953 and made their home in Wells. 
Aurora worked many jobs in her life.  Banquet Foods, Del Monte, her last being Parkview Nursing Home.  
Aurora was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
