Senior Citizens to meet Oct. 6 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at the New Prague City Hall second floor meeting room, 118 Central Ave. N. The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday. For reservations call 952-496-8341. All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards the first Friday of each month at 12:45 p.m.
‘Our Czech Heritage Club’ meeting is October 11 Our Czech Heritage Club will hold its October meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the New Prague Memorial Library, 400 Main St. E. The program for the evening will feature information and photos from our last tour of the Czech Republic in anticipation of the club’s next tour. All are welcome to attend.
Prairie Quilters to hold monthly meeting on Oct. 12 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will hold their October meeting from 7- 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, at New Prague City Hall, 118 Central Ave. N. Sara Hardwig from Blueberry Stitches will be the speaker. They will also have a short meeting and have show and tell. New members and visitors are always welcome.
