Mayme Lillian Richter, 96

Mayme Lillian Richter, 96, of Mound, formerly of Montgomery, passed away at Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery, with visitation 1-1/2 hours prior beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in spring.

Mayme was born on March 28, 1921, to James and Antonie (Barta) Noiske at home in Rural Montgomery. She was united in marriage to John Richter at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery and was a homemaker and farmed all her life. 

Mayme loved cooking, baking, flower gardening, and her cats.

Mayme is survived by her daughters, Darlene Richter of Edina, and Sharon Tester of Mound; granddaughter, Jessica Tester of Mound; niece, Cindy Westerhouse; nephews, Rick Noiske, and Jim Noiske.

Mayme is preceded in death by her husband, John Richter; her parents; brother, Jim Noiske.
