Gladys “Glady” Zellmer, 86

Gladys “Glady” F. (Mrs. Harold) Zellmer, 86, of Faribault died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Milestone Senior Living, Faribault.
 
Memorial services were held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Mike Zaske, pastor of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Faribault officiating. Interment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
 
A memorial visitation was held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and also at the funeral home for one hour prior to the services on Monday.
 
Gladys Frances Weiss, the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Heidenreich) Weiss, was born April 2, 1931, in Le Center. She married Harold Zellmer on October 29, 1951, in Le Sueur County. 
 
Gladys was previously employed at the Faribault Regional Center and Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault as an L.P.N. Glady loved her family, friends, cats, garage sales, gardening, and bingo.
 
She is survived by five children, Connie Borst (and special friend, Richard) of Reno, NV, Sharon (and James) Olsen of Brooklyn Center, David (and Cindy) Zellmer of Faribault, Lori (and Mark) Sammon of Faribault and Don (and Sandy) Zellmer of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorraine Shippman of Le Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; one great grandson, Eric Zellmer; and brother-in-law, Bud Shippman.
