Florenz “Dutch” R. Wolf, 88, died peacefully on March 11, 2018 at Hoffmann Hospice, Bakersfield, CA.
Dutch was born on December 29, 1929 to Raymond and Hildegard (Schloesser) Wolf at home in Jordan, Minnesota. Dutch served in the US Army and was deployed and served in Korea. Dutch married Irene Ambroz in Minnesota and a few years later moved to Bakersfield. They had four children, Andrea (Ray) Dawson of Kenyon, Ray (Joanne) Wolf of Chaska, Cheryl (Mike) Aronson of Katy, TX and Paula (Tim) Novak of Veseli. Years later he married Estelle Durahm, who had 3 children. He spent most of his life as a truck driver hauling hay. Once retired, he enjoyed his lawn care business and visiting with his many clients. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching the Angels baseball games.
Dutch is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors were held at Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest, Bakersfield, CA on Friday, March 16, at 10 am.
