Cross country team wins Maple River Invite

The WEM/JWP girls' cross country team won the Maple River Invitational Thursday, Sept. 14 in Mapleton. It was the second team championship the girls have won this fall. Lauren Dimler placed fifth and Addison Peed placed sixth to lead the Grizzlies. The boys team placed third in the eight team event. They were led by Kaden Cameron, who placed second. Jarod Pavek placed 11th. The Grizzlies will continue their season Thursday, Sept. 28 when they host the Pie Run at Prairie Ridge Golf Course in Janesville.
